So that day me and my friends went to this Korean restaurant in Sutera Utama, Dong Seoul Korean Restaurant. Originally I was quite skeptical about Korean food, because for me Korean food always tasted the same, and as the K-pop’s raising, every restaurant is coming out with their own not so Korean Korean food. But the after tasting their food, I was kinda shock that how good it is, the foods retains the traditional Korean taste everywhere els is trying to imitate, while once you tried it, you know it’s better then those in many ways.
The interior was quite comfortable, most of the table are in Korean style, their Bap Sang. All of the tables are fitted with a Korean barbecue pit and a smoke vent of top since the restaurant is fully air-conditioned.
They serve all kinds of barbecue choices,we ordered 2 sets of pork, but they are different in both the marination and the cuts. As you can see, they serve many kinds of side dishes. Those mini pancakes are very nice, you don’t get to see them a lot in Korean restaurant.

A servant will barbecue for you, preventing any overcook. They will place a lettuce under those meat that are already cooked, to prevent them from getting burnt.
After the meat is cooked, the servant will cut them into smaller lettuce wrap-able size. Then you can wrap the tender juicy meat in a piece of fresh lettuce with what ever you like, I even tried wrapping the meat with some seaweed (side dishes) , and it taste incredible.
Next we had the GinSeng Chicken soup. They controlled the strong flavor from the ginseng, I personally liked it to be stronger but my friend enjoyed the tone down of the ginseng.
Recommended by the owner, the Korean seafood hotpot was definitely not disappointing. For a two person portion, the amount and types of seafood they used for this is just awesome. You can find squids, prawns, crabs, few type of clamps and vegetables inside. This is the most satisfied dish I personally feel, the soup is just packed with the sweat taste from the seafood. We strongly recommend this very worthy and delicious dish.
After the meal, we are stuffed. We originally planed to try more variety of food there, but after knowing their portions, we gave up that idea and focusing on finishing those already ordered. But never mind, we definitely will eat there again soon. 😀
